The 8 Point Trait Test for Choosing the Right MLM Company

There is about a new MLM company starting every week. This shows that the network marketing model works. The question now is

“Which one should I associate with?”

I cannot deny that there are the good, the bad and the ugly. With hundreds to choose from, it can be overwhelming.

I’ll briefly share with you my characteristic 8-point test that you can use to identify the right companies to explore later.

Subindustry. The network marketing industry has various sub-industries based on the products and services offered. For example: health and wellness, beauty and care, telecommunications, legal services, domains and websites, personal development, public services (in some states), travel and some others.

It is important that you choose a sub-industry that is less likely to be affected by the economy.

Recorded audio. This one is simple: How long has the company been around? Is it an established company with a proven track record and consistent market leadership? Is it a promising startup with great potential?

management team Who are the founders? What is your background? Do they have hands-on experience with network marketing themselves? What are your values? Are they running the business with the utmost integrity? How is the customer service? The company is only as strong and solid as its leadership.

Products and services. In today’s market, it’s hard to find a niche that has little or no competition. Having the best products and services is definitely a must. Having the ones that change people’s lives in a meaningful way and generate lots of testimonials is even better. It’s best when those products and services are related to the correct sub-industry, as explained above.

compensation plan. The goal of every network marketer is to generate a lasting stream of income from ongoing monthly product sales through a huge distribution network under their leadership. Finding the right MLM company that offers fair and generous compensation to its distributors is critical. The plan must be balanced between quick retail profits or customer acquisition bonuses and sustainable long-term residual income.

Training and mentoring. Training is essential. Most new hires can’t start work until after they’ve received the proper training, and neither can new distributors. A good MLM company will have an established training process and schedule that their distributors can stick to on a regular basis. In this multi-media world we live in, training and mentoring can come in the form of conference calls, videos, webinars, and newsletters, as well as face-to-face meetings. Many leaders often give personal mentoring to those who are willing to commit.

Future expansion. The international market is nothing new. MLM companies that have no plans to expand globally will be left behind. Choose a company that has the greatest potential to open a new market in virtually any country in the world.

Approval. People are crazy about celebrities. Celebrities are a great example of attraction marketing. All the products that have their names will probably be sold. The more famous the celebrity endorsing you, the more you sell, especially if it’s related to the celebrity’s field of expertise or values.

I explain all the points in detail in my special report “Network Marketing Simplified”.

I understand that you may have a hard time finding the perfect company that passes all the feature tests I shared above. On the other hand, though, you may want to take your time and do your due diligence to find the company you feel comfortable partnering with. If you do, you are less likely to regret it and can go full force without any reservations.
