Milestones in the MBA admission procedure

Among the application procedures in different educational institutions, the one that is distinguished by specific requirements. We are talking about MBA programs.

Master of Business Administration means a respected and well-known education degree that is a witness factor of a person’s qualification and skills.

It is understood that the admission requirements for the MBA program should be stringent enough to allow admission officers to select professionals who are worthy of awarding an MBA degree.

There are certain common steps for all types of MBA programs. One of the main requirements is to pass the General Management Admission Test which shows the existing level of knowledge possessed by an applicant.

People are often afraid of this test because they don’t know what to expect from it. But there are ways to prepare for it. Sample test questions are widely available on the Internet. Also, there are no limitations on the number of attempts to pass a test.

Another milestone in the MBA application process is the letters of reference, also known as letters of recommendation. In general, we can divide the writings of the application procedure into those written by an applicant and those composed by the third parties of the process and presented by an applicant. Letters of reference are prepared by other people, who usually have a good relationship with the applicant and have an adequate description of him/her.

If we take dual degree programs, there may be another test in discipline that accompanies the main management course. It can be an exam in finance or law or human resources or engineering, etc.

There is another milestone worth mentioning. It is known as statement of purpose for MBA admission and it is a document prepared by an applicant that mentions the objectives of her to obtain a degree.
