There are so many ways to get your music heard today. The easiest way is to post a music video on YouTube and hope that it turns heads with more than enough YouTubers watching and listening on their favorite channel. More than enough recording artists have become famous due to their exposure on the second largest engine of its kind. Although conventional radio remains the most popular form receiving the most attention, there are new players in the broadcast game. With today’s technologies and the advancement with the use of the internet; the transmission field is balancing. There are a variety of ways to market and promote to consumers; giving music lovers more options to listen to new artists that may never end up on commercial radio.

From some of the biggest streaming media giants such as: Cumulus Media, Hubbard Broadcasting, Entercom, IHeartMedia, Summit Media Group, just to name a few, these are the stations that run mainstream radio along with their sister stations. Then there are much smaller family radio stations that may have a portion of listeners with limited amounts of power to broadcast in certain regions of their own communities, making going viral virtually impossible.

They are becoming popular and competitive in the music industry as more and more music lovers find new ways to listen to their favorite recording artist.
