Soak the thirst for knowledge: the endless search for books

What is the difference between a boy and a man? Is it just an age difference? On the surface, it might seem that over time a boy boy always becomes a man, but frankly, when we look deeper, we can see that a boy can only become a man in society with knowledge. Empirical knowledge, although important, is not sacrosanct since without theoretical knowledge only a certain amount of information can be collected in the average lifetime.

Civilization has continued to evolve over time and this has been as a result of the transfer of practical knowledge through theoretical means using the book as the medium. Before the discovery of the computer and the Internet, it was much more difficult to acquire knowledge. Paperbacks were sometimes limited editions: especially those that were exclusive. With the advent of online libraries, “searching for books” and “sharing knowledge” have become easier. Today, reading texts from exclusive book collections has become relatively easy. Some of the books that are already out of print but highly sought after by people are only available in these online libraries. Getting a paperback from exclusive book collections can be expensive, but these paperbacks are now available much cheaper from online libraries.

In addition to knowledge transfer, there are other benefits to using an online library. For established writers around the world, online social libraries are one of the best places to create fan groups through which they can popularize their writing. Even William Shakespeare could never have dreamed of the opportunities that are available through the social library today. Today’s writers, experienced or new, have been blessed with this great blessing: the online library. For those writers trying to make their mark in the harsh world of writing, the online social library is the place where they can make their mark in an otherwise unsympathetic market. For the budding writer, there is a catch 22: traditional publishers usually prefer a writer with a certain following, but the new writer usually doesn’t have this. So how does the newly minted writer have a chance? The social library is the equalizing platform. Any avid reader of a genre can search for books and find a new writer’s book organically using the online library.

For new writers, getting a following is paramount. Regardless of the goal of the budding writer: to increase the number of followers or to earn money, the online library is the balance platform between the new and the established writer.
