Practical ways to balance work life

Keep in mind that work-life balance takes effort, it doesn’t come about by itself, it doesn’t come from fasting and prayer, it doesn’t come about by accident, there are things to do and keep doing. Is it so:

1: Put your attention on God: Attending to your God is one of the most important things in life, in fact, it is the most important gift you can give yourself. If your life is to be balanced put God first, serve him, give him your life, worship him, follow him and obey him all your life.

Your job, your free time, your family should never be allowed to interfere with your relationship with the Lord. Anything you do to harm your relationship with the Lord will come back to haunt you, so embrace God in everything you do and you will be fine.

2: Be prayerful: Praying to God is another way of saying that you trust, obey and believe in him and committing your ways in his hands makes him commit and establish your work.

“Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established.” (Proverbs 16:3 KJV)

Spend time with God daily in prayer and in the word of God, He, in turn, will come into your life and make things easy for you.

3: Meditate on your Purpose. Isn’t it amazing that lots of people are doing what they don’t like and aren’t even willing to give it up?

Most people feel bad on Monday morning and say thank God it’s Friday, it just shows that they don’t like what they’re doing, they’re just putting up with it.

Find your purpose and work on it, to live a balanced life you must be doing what you like, not just what will bring you money.

4: You know your job very well: A balanced life demands that you know your work inside out, if you know your work through, life is made easier through you, knowledge helps in the place of diligence and excellence. It helps you to be more creative and helps you to do your work better and faster, therefore you have more time to spend with your family, the work you know very well will also pay you well and ensure your financial rest.

5: Have the right tools for your trade: The right tools will make your job easier and give you space to pay attention to other things, so you can live a balanced life.

6: Get to know your work through: Knowing your job makes it easier to do it with the right tools, making things easier for you as you make a porridge in very minimal time, allowing you to tone up and be able to pay attention to other things that are noble and necessary.

7: Learn the Act of Delegation: Know what to do yourself, know what to give others to do for you, you can’t be everywhere at all times without hurting yourself and your family life.

8: Set your priority day: your priority should be God first, family second and then your work. If you don’t set your priority in this way and put your work first above your family and your God, you will ruin your relationship with your God and your family.

9: Avoid frivolities that waste time: Avoid the things that add no value to your life, avoid the things that limit your effectiveness, the things that waste precious time and opportunities. All bad association, gambling, drinking and parties that take away your strength and efficiency.

10: Know when to rest: Rest is not a luxury, it is part of life, treat it that way, put rest in your schedules, know when to rest, know when to exit the system to recharge.
